Remains of the ancient city of PompeiOur exploration starts from the most famous towns, like Positano, Sorrento in the Amalfi Coast, or historic places like Paestum and Pompei, with it's ancient findings of the old city burried by the anger of the Vesuvio volcano, nowadays dormant, or beautiful dream-like islands like Ischia and Capri; on the heel of the italian boot in the middle of the Gargano and Salento parks in Puglia, where you can find the Trulli, pointed ancient houses, typical old style of Puglia; in the region of Basilicata the visit the statue of the Christ of Maratea is a must, on hill top, overlooking the town and port; we continue exploring towards Calabria, full of history culture and folklore, with it's perfect climate for the growth of "Cedro", cedar fruit, which is very difficult to find in the rest of the world and the findings in the Ionian Sea of the the Bronzi of Riace, the statues of two famous full-size Greek bronzes of nude bearded warriors; Sicily, one of Italy's most beautiful regions also full of history which goes back to Greek era, with many temples scattered around the region, or on a excursion on Mount Etna, the vulcano still awake and active. All sites for perfect holidays, to relax, enjoy and explore new natural and cultural world, history, cuisine and folkore, different in each town and area, but all old traditions passed on through by many generations. All this in the south of the most famous "boot" of the world, Italy.
